HTC announced that it will change its smartphone strategy last December in 2019. In line with this strategy, the life of U12 + and U12 Life devices will be extended. The company also promised to focus on the flagship and mid-level phones this year.
A new HTC device has been listed on GeekBench. The device has a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The HTC 2Q741 has an Android 9 Pie. The device is expected to be a new mid-range phone from HTC.
This is thought to be the MediaTek version of the phone that appeared in GeekBench last month with the Snapdragon 710 processor and 6 GB of RAM. The Snapdragon processor device had a similar 2Q7A100 model number. With the MediaTek version, some specific markets may be targeted.
No other information about this mysterious medium device appeared. The device may be likely to be announced soon.
