Samyang introduced the world’s largest wide-angle linear prime lens, XP 10mm f / 3.5. The XP 10mm f / 3.5, which crushes the Laowa 12mm f / 2.8 lens from Venus Optics, achieves the same focal length as the Laowa 10-18mm f / 4.5-5.6 FE.
Designed for full-frame cameras, Samyang XP 10mm f / 3.5 can provide 130 ° viewing angle without distortion. The fact that the lens offers such a wide viewing angle makes the landscape and architecture indispensable for photographs.
According to a statement by Samyang, XP 10mm f / 3.5 supports 55+ megapixel still images and 8K video recordings. The lens with a focusing distance of 26 cm has ultra-multi-coating technology that reduces glare and ghosting.
The Samyang / Rokinon XP 10mm f / 3.5 will be available on the Canon EF with a price tag of € 1,099. The device is expected to reach photographers in the spring.
