Korean technology giant Samsung aims to make the front camera hole invisible on new smartphones.
This year’s flagship phone series from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S10 family, has many great features, but what attracted the most people’s attention was the front camera hole. Even the wallpapers that make this hole bir featured Hatta become very popular on the Internet at a time.
Samsung also realized that people did not like this hole and tried to make them invisible. Therefore, the company decided to push the limits of this technology. The company’s current goal is to produce a display with a camera hole that is not clear from the outside.
The basic logic of the new screens is that the camera hole is invisible during normal use of the phone. If the camera is used, the pixels in front of the camera will be turned off. The back of these pixels will be transparent so the camera can work smoothly.
Samsung’s only project for displays is not to make camera holes invisible. The firm is also trying to combine the audio feature with the display. Thus, there will be no need for a separate audio output. We have seen similar technology on LG G8 ThinQ phones before.
While Samsung has not made a statement on when to use these technologies in commercial use, these technologies are expected to enter our lives in the next 1-2 years.
