Can Apple’s solution be a Huawei with a 5G supported iPhone? According to a rumor, Huawei could be Apple’s 5G modem supplier.
According to Engadget, the Chinese firm Huawei, which produces its own processor and modem chips, can sell this equipment to Apple. Developing 5G Balong 5000 chipsets, Huawei said he would not supply these components to his competitors, but a source talking to Engadget said that Huawei is now open to selling 5G chips, but that it only applies to Apple.
Apple‘s 5G phone production problems in recent times is a topic that frequently comes up. Although the company says it will release the 5G-powered iPhone in 2020, Intel may not be able to raise 5G LTE chips until Apple has supplied its chips.
Apple’s agreement with Qualcomm, one of the most powerful companies in this regard, almost impossible because of the legal war between them. The situation with Samsung and MediaTek is not yet clear. Apple had begun to produce its own 5G modems, but it is not expected to be fully ready by 2021.
Huawei’s 5G Balong 5000 chips may be well suited for Apple’s phones, but there was no explanation by Apple that they were interested in Huawei technologies. Apart from all these, Huawei’s relationship with Apple is not very good, and the Chinese company’s problems with the US government do not seem to end.
