Instagram is removing the Follow tab from the platform, which displays activities such as likes and comments of those you follow. The tab will begin to be removed from next week.
Instagram, playing at the top of the world’s most used social media platforms, is doing its best to keep itself alive with new updates and new features. Now, the company does not bring a feature in a future update but rather removes it.
As you know, when you click the heart icon on Instagram, you will see two tabs: You and Tracking. Under the “You” tab in this area, you see comments and likes from your photos or notification of things that are only relevant to you. Under the “Tracking” tab you can see the activities of your followers. Or rather, you’ve seen it until this time.
The ‘Tracking’ tab will be removed from the application:
Instagram is preparing to remove this Tracking tab from the platform, which brings out almost all of the people’s activities. After an interview with the company’s head of product Vishal Shah, Buzzfeed, Buzzfeed said in a news release that the Tracking tab will be removed from next week.
Instagram hasn’t made an official statement yet. Although Buzzfeed has indicated that this tab will begin to be removed from next week, some users have indicated that this tab has disappeared at the beginning of August. You also don’t have to worry if the Follow tab in your Instagram app has somehow disappeared. Unless there’s someone to stalk.
