Apple’s wireless charger AirPower was canceled after a long waiting period. Now it is said that the AirPower project is on the agenda again.
Last March, Apple announced that it had canceled AirPower, which would allow wireless charging of multiple Apple devices. Following this development, which upset users waiting for months, Apple now has a new AirPower patent from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The patent filed on June 30, 2019, brought to mind the question of whether the project was officially shelved in March. Canceled on the grounds that Apple could not meet quality standards, AirPower had problems that could pose risks such as overheating.
Now again, this patent application made AirPower hoping for pending users. Apple did not announce any continuation of the project, but apparently, the technology giant seems to have re-launched the AirPower project. Although there is no detailed information at the moment, we may find new information about AirPower in the coming days.
