Ford had been testing the autonomous vehicle ‘Survival en for some time. The robot was designed by Ford engineers to do ordinary work, such as bringing the workers’ time to steal. The robot is currently serving at a Ford plant in Spain.
According to the company, Survival knows all the plans of the Ford plant in Valencia, Spain. This tool was designed not to replace the real workers, but rather to facilitate the work of the workers. Survival transports goods between facilities and has a capacity of carrying 17 items.
Ford has been testing Survival for almost a year and, according to what is said, Survival gives workers a total of 40 hours per day. In the absence of a robot, workers have to carry all the goods between the facilities themselves.
Like many autonomous vehicles, Survival also uses LiDAR (a radar system that sends the laser to identify objects around). Apart from acting according to plant plans, Survival can maneuver instantly if people are exposed to it.
