Apple has recently received FCC approval for the MacBook Pro, model number A2159, which it has registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Apple recently registered a MacBook Pro with the model number A2159 at the Eurasian Economic Commission. This week, Apple received the same model number from the FCC. In FCC documents, Apple states that the unpublished A2159 is a refurbished MacBook Pro.
The A2159 is not part of Apple’s MacBook Pro’s May update, and it’s not entirely clear what it is. A Reddit user says it is a revised version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Some rumors say Apple will renew its 13-inch MacBook Pro without a Touch Bar that it didn’t update in May. This model of the MacBook Pro has not received an update since 2017.
Apple is also said to be working on a MacBook Pro with a newer design and a larger 16-inch display, but the data in the FCC document does not match this rumor.
