With the widespread use of Oled screens, Japan Display will produce Apple Watch screens.
Japan Display, one of the leading LCD display manufacturers, will now produce screens of Apple Watches after iPhone screens. The Japan Display was in a deadlock when the LCD screens quickly lost their value and left their places on OLED displays and failed to compete with other suppliers. The report, prepared by two anonymous sources, stated that this supply agreement would put pressure on Japan Display’s OLED display market and that this display was dominated by Samsung Display and LG Display. It was confusing for the report to appear after they indicated that they wanted a $ 990 million increase in order to finance Japan Display’s transition to OLED production.
The Japan Display will supply Apple with at least some of the OLED screens of the new Apple Watch watches that will be released in late 2019. In February, a consortium including the Silk Road Fund, which was backed by the Chinese government, had reported a full flow of $ 723 million. By the end of March, the flow of money would be completed and the company would be saved for the third time.
Although the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the upcoming Apple Watch series would be a ceramic model, there was no explanation for the new Apple Watch from the Apple wing. It is said that reducing the loyalty to Samsung and LG is what it means for Apple to deliver such news instead of product features.
