Netflix announced that it will remove the comment and evaluation system that users think they are no longer using. Let’s see what kind of a way the viewers are going to comment now.
Since July 30, Netflix has announced that users can not comment on movies or TV shows they watch. Following this, let’s say that the comments already posted by users since August will now be completely removed from the platform. In addition, the thumb evaluation system presented to users in 2017 will also be removed.
Netflix has begun sending e-mail messages to users to close user comments. It was announced that the evaluation system was not used as much as the old one and both the comment and evaluation system will be removed from 30 July. In the past year, Netflix has released a system of thumb evaluations that would be more useful by removing the five-star rating system. It is said that they think this system will be used more actively, but that there is no progress in this regard. It is not known yet whether a different system will come in place of the two removed systems. However, there is no explanation as to what the users who want to comment and evaluate will do.
Serving since 1997, Netflix received its current status in 2000 and was first introduced to users in 2002. In 2007, users started using this platform on their personal computers. Netflix, which became available in 2009 with televisions and devices with internet connection, is among the most actively used broadcasting services.
